Bainum Family Foundation — Farm Welcome Center

A welcoming hub for city students and visitors connecting with agriculture and local history — and a gathering space for farm staff and the Bainum Family team. Interactive trails weave through the landscape; outdoor classrooms and gardens extend learning into the natural setting. Inside: a large assembly area, offices, and a fully equipped kitchen. Strawbale-paneled walls, timber frame construction, solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and low-carbon materials throughout — an eco-friendly, resilient space built for learning, community, and long-term use.
